Samhain Sanctuary - Large Antique Scottish Thistle Urn Silver Candle 720ml
A vintage silver plated vessel repurposed by myself and transformed into a beautiful handcrafted candle.
This interesting peice is made by John Round & Son's and is circa 1850-1860.
The urn has two handles and the body is patinaed giving it an 'old world' look.
On one side of the vessel there is a engraved thistle and bee motif which after some research I discovered belongs to the MacInnes Clan from Morven in Scotland.
It has the motto 'E Labore Dolcedo' which translate to 'In work, we find pleasure'.
This is a large vessel with double wicks and is very weighty.
This vessel in the Samhain Sanctuary collection contains our gentle Antique Arches scent. Reminiscent of stepping into your favourite antique store and the feeling of nostalgia. Rich woods, leather, bergamot and sandalwood combined with patchouli and a base of amber.
Vellichor - the scent of old books.
Adorned with a duo of gothic window quatrefoil shaped silver wax embeds.
The bowl measures 11.5cm x 9.5cm and contains 720ml of wax.
When your candle has finished the vessel makes for a perfect altar accompliment.
Hand poured by Wolf Wytch in Nottingham, UK with 100% coconut wax for a clean burn.
