The Nottingham Horror Collective Issue 9: The World
Indie publishing for Horror fans.
Devoted to creating beautiful zines that celebrate and explore the Horror genre.
Greetings from the brink of oblivion.
THE WORLD is a Tarot card that symbolises fulfilment, completion, and harmony. But when placed in our little goblin clutches, such serene interpretations are inevitably misshapen into something a bit more sinister.
For our 9th issue, we've once again done what no one has asked for and reshuffled this card in the only way we know how. We’ll be exploring the downfall of civilisations too arrogant to see their own doom, depicting body horror as nature's unexpected method of adaptation, and interpreting "eat the rich" in the most vampirically literal sense—complete with blood and dirty bath water.
Within these films and across cultures, we grapple with horror that digs deep into the marrow of existence on our shared Earth, uncovering a comforting, peculiar beauty: the stubborn spark of human hope.
With every shred of our being,
Emily & Ruth.
This issue is 76 pages, A5, and perfect-bound.
