Gothic Victoriana embodies the hauntingly beautiful and strikingly bleak aesthetic of the era. Each candle captures the eerie and mysterious elements of Victorian England, while also celebrating its inherent beauty.

The ornate design of our candles perfectly captures the essence of macabre charm, featuring intricate details and a opulent, sophisticated look that would look like they've been taken straight out of Bram Stoker's study.

The Twist Of Cain candle is scented with fresh mint, ginger, blackcurrant and notes of tobacco.

Each Gothic Victoriana candle weighs a total of 250g and measures 2" x 5.5"

No two ornate candles are the same. As each candle is handmade there might be some small beautiful imperfections and this will vary from candle to candle.

Made with 100% coconut wax each candle is of course vegan, incuding our braided cotton wicks.

It's a beautiful candle, and the smell is one of my favourites. Sadly, the wick on mine wasn't centred evenly, so it overflows from the side -- even while I'm keeping an eye on it, frequently moving wick to the centre as much as possible, which in itself is more maintenance than I would prefer. The sight of an overflowed candle is atmospheric, but too much of it is wasted that way, and cleaning the wax from the stand and a table is a hassle. You do expect precision for the price.
